Edina Liquor – Southdale Update

Edina Liquor­ – Southdale has been closed for four weeks. It began its 5^th week of reconstruction as of Monday, March 5. Construction is moving along and things are really starting to take shape.

This last week, we found out the vinyl flooring had been delayed and will not be installed until this weekend or, at the latest, early next week. This will push back our reopening date Monday, March 19. There is a chance that we can open sooner, but that is unknown until early next week. We have worked toward and planned to be open sooner, but sometimes things are out of our control and we have to adjust to make the best of it. I know what an impact this has on our customers and I was hoping to tell you that we would be opening on time, not that we had to push it back a week.

Over the next few days, Painting will be finished, tile work will be done, carpet will be installed and checkout counters will be placed. There will be a lot of activity getting things in place and, before we know it, the store will be open.

I would like to thank all our customers that continue to support our other two stores during this renovation. I appreciate your patients and look forward to the opportunity to serve you again.
