Partnership with Bloomington Community Access Television (BCAT)
The Southwest Suburban Cable Commission (SWSCC) and SWTV have maintained a strong partnership with BCAT to provide free studio access to residents of Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins, Minnetonka and Richfield. The space may be used by residents to create their own video productions. Although the studio space is free to use, SWTV residents must undergo training and schedule a time to use the space with BCAT's Communications Specialist, Ben Vinar.
In addition to studio space, SWTV and BCAT are offering a bimonthly meeting for producers called Production Club. We will share information about a different video production topic each month and have time to have a discussion about. The monthly topics may switch due to a speaker's schedule.
Unless otherwise specified, Production Club meets at BCAT's Studio at the following dates and times:
February 21 @ 6:30 p.m. - Using a Field Switcher: How To Direct Multiple Cameras In The Field
April 11 @ 6:30 p.m. - Camera Support Systems
June 27 @ 6:30 p.m. - Audio Tips & Tricks
August 29 @ 6:30 p.m. - TBD Field Trip!
October 17 @ 6:30 p.m. - Future of Public Access - w/special guest Mike Wassenaar, President of ACM
December 5 @ 7p.m. - End Of The Year Party
Teen Video Boot Camp 2019

Have fun being a part of a production team, make new friends, and learn to produce quality videos. The final day will include a screening of the film for friends and family!
