Construction is substantially completed. This project included paving the roadway and adjacent gravel alleys, new concrete curb and gutter, installation of new watermain and improvements to the storm sewer system.
The full costs of the roadway and alley improvements are assessed to the property owners within the project area. The pending roadway special assessment is $11,230 per Residential Equivalent Unit (REU) and the pending alley special assessments are $2,340-$2,600 per REU. The final bill for the special assessments will be mailed to property owners in September 2019 and can be paid off over 15 years with interest.
