This Housing TIF District was established in 2018 to support development of new affordably priced housing. The new housing is intended to replace the vacant commercial facility at 4100 W. 76th St.
The site has been secured by Aeon Development and funding is currently being pursued. The HRA has pledged $925,000 in TIF with an additional $2.4 million in support. Rezoning consideration and groundbreaking is yet-to-be scheduled, pending full funding commitments.
