Fitness classes and health programs have resumed in person. Tai Chi at Home is still available. 

Registration is required for many classes and recommended for others. Unless otherwise listed:

Active & Strong

Treat yourself to good movement and fun. Participants can sit or stand as exercises are adapted for all levels of physical ability. Instructor is Patty Anderson. Pre-registration is required.

  • Session 1 - Mondays; Sept. 13-Oct. 25 (No class Sept. 27); 9-10 a.m. Cost: $40
  • Session 2 - Mondays; Nov. 1-Dec. 13; 9-10 a.m. Cost: $45

Agility, Balance, Core Strength Class

The ABC class is part of the "Little Moves Big Result" series that is low-impact (no floor exercises) and is designed for the beginner- to intermediate-level senior. This is a 45-minute class taught by Christy Zilka, a certified personal trainer specializing in Senior Fitness. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring water. Silver Sneakers and Silver and Fit members are encouraged to attend; class cost could be waived once verified. Cost is $24 per session and pre-registration is required.

  • Session 1 - Tuesdays and Thursdays; Oct. 5-28; 2:15-3 p.m.
  • Session 2 - Tuesdays and Thursdays; Oct. 5-28; 3:15-4 p.m.

Posture Perfect Class

Working on your posture offers benefits such as improved circulation and digestion, a healthy spine, and boosting your self-confidence. Cost is $5 per session and pre-registration is required.

  • Session 1 - Thursday; Sept. 23; 12:30-1:30 p.m. 
  • Session 2 - Thursday, Oct. 21; 12:30-1:30 p.m.
  • Session 3 - Thursday, Nov. 18; 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Tai Chi at Home

Instructor Spencer Chandler offers a free, simple daily tai chi lesson weekdays from 9:05 to 9:50 a.m. No prior knowledge, skill or equipment needed. Participate as often as you wish.
