This Housing TIF District was established in 2019 to support development of new affordable housing. The new housing is intended to replace the vacant dry-cleaning facility at 7075-79 Amundson Avenue.
With the assistance of the Edina Housing Foundation, the site has been secured by the Edina HRA. It will be sold to MWF Properties in 2020 to construct a four-story 62-unit building. All 62 units will be affordable to households with incomes at or below 60 percent the median area income. There will be eight, one-bedroom units, 23 two-bedroom units, and 31 three-bedroom units.
