Wildlife of Edina

The Artwork

The 15-foot wooden animal sculpture carved from a century-old white oak tree graces the south side of City Hall and displays an impressive array of wildlife found in Edina and greater Minnesota. 


The Artist

Minnesota chainsaw artist Curtis Ingvolstad designed the mural and sought to represent the spirit of the myriad animals native to the state in this artistic rendering.


Funding

The project was approved by the Arts & Culture Commission and funded by the City.
