Here is the latest information on the Edina Senior Center's status. Please check back often for updates and especially before you attend a class or program.
The Edina Senior Center and its staff are excited to share that we are transitioning back to indoor programming at full capacity beginning July 1!
In the early phases of reopening our building to full capacity, here’s what you can expect from us. We will:
Ask you to sign in for each activity. In case there is a possible exposure to COVID-19, we’ll be able to promptly contact attendees.
Encourage you to update your contact information. When you arrive at an event, we'll confirm your address, email, primary phone and emergency contact information. Receiving our messages by email is the quickest way to get news on upcoming events and activities.
Allow you to bring in your own coffee, water or other beverages. No food or beverages will be served or shared in the Senior Center.
What to Know Before You Come for a Program or Event
Gathering safely and respectfully requires everyone’s contributions. Please:
Continue to follow state health guidance. While fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks, those who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear masks and physically distance. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the start time of your event.
Self-monitor for COVID symptoms. Stay home if any symptoms are present or if you are unvaccinated and may have been exposed to the virus.
Respect those around you. Remember to cover coughs and sneezes, wash and sanitize hands completely before and after an activity and maintain a safe distance whenever possible.
Understand that your vaccine status is private. No one is required to share their vaccine status with anyone who’s not involved in their medical care.
