Multi-Family Recycling & Organics

The Edina Health Department is your partner in recycling and organics recycling. They want to make sure residents have the tools and education they need to successfully participate.

Please note that recycling is already a requirement, but organics recycling is optional at this point in multi-family buildings. We offer the following free resources to help with regular recycling and start organics recycling at your building:

  • On-site and virtual education for residents and staff
  • On-site audit of signage
  • Educational material for residents and new resident move-in guides
  • A guided, 6-month pilot organics recycling program

If you are a resident who would like to see these resources in your building, reach out to Organics Recycling Coordinator Twila Singh at [email protected] or 952-826-1657.

How can a multi-family building resident participate in organics right now?
