Crime Reports & Map

New Crime Reporting System Progress

In mid-February, the Edina Police Department began the switch to a new software for service calls, data and reports.

Weekly crime reports: The format and information in the weekly crime reports changed in the switch. The current report is the closest match to what was provided previously.

Crime map: The map is part of the next phase of the software rollout. We expect it to include more detail on incidents, and hope for it to be online by early summer.

Thank you for your patience during the transition of the new software.

The Edina Police Department issues a weekly bulletin of crimes and incidents. These crime reports include:

To view previous data, click the crime map link and then select 'Filters'. Then select a custom data range and select "See results" at the bottom of the panel.

Note:  Incident data is available for the past six months on this external website. Some crimes are not listed due to data privacy laws.
