- All patrons must be able to swim or be supervised by an adult.
- Lifeguard must be present before patrons may enter the pool.
- Take a warm soap shower before entering the pool.
- Children 3 years of age and younger must wear swim diapers.
- Change diapers at diaper changing stations and dispose of them properly.
- Anyone who has had diarrhea should not use the pool for two weeks after symptoms have subsided.
- Warn your children not to drink the water.
- Emergency alert system is three whistles.
- Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved flotation devices may be used in the pool.
- No inflatable devices are allowed.
- All adults and children that are swimming must wear appropriate swim attire. Street clothes are not permitted to be worn in the pool.
- Food is allowed in the concessions area only.
- No diving except off diving boards.
- No running.
- Coolers, glassware, alcohol and tobacco are not allowed.
- No domestic animals are allowed in the facility.
- Bather capacity is 1,000 people.
- For use by children 8 years of age and younger only.
- An adult must supervise all children.
- Children 3 years of age and younger must wear swim diapers.
- Change diapers at diaper changing stations and dispose of them properly.

- No reverse, back or inward dives without instructional supervision.
- Goggles, hats and glasses are not permitted when diving.
- There is no height requirement for the tube slide.
- You must be at least 50 inches tall to use the body slide and zip line.
- You must be able to swim at least 5 yards in deep water to use the zip line.
- Goggles are not permitted on the water slides or zip line.
- Life jackets (Coast Guard approved) may be worn on the tube slide, but are not permitted on the body slide or Zip Line.
- Riders must be at least 42 inches tall to ride on a bodyboard.
- Riders must be at least 52 inches tall to ride on a flow board.
Policies
- Coolers, glass containers, alcohol and tobacco are not allowed into the facility
- The Edina Aquatic Center does not allow outside food and beverages into the facility.
- On-site concessions are available but must be consumed in designated areas of the facility.
The Edina Aquatic Center will clear the pool and/or close if:
- The current temperature is 62 degrees or colder.
- It is raining hard enough so that it is difficult to see the bottom of the pool.
- There is thunder or lightning.
- There is a tornado warning.
Please note: Management reserves the right to close all or part of the facility due to low attendance.
The Edina Aquatic Center does not offer cash refunds for weather-related closures. If the pool is cleared for more than one hour due to inclement weather, guests who purchased daily admission less than one hour before the pool was initially cleared and can produce a receipt will receive a daily admission voucher to return on another day. Daily admission holders who have been at the Edina Aquatic Center more than one hour before the pool is closed will not be given daily admission to return. Guests must remain at the facility in order to receive daily admissions credits.
Policy on Filming Children at the Aquatic Center
No person shall intentionally take a photograph or otherwise record a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian. Any person who intentionally takes the photograph or otherwise records a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian will be asked to leave the Aquatic Center. A person who violates this policy will have their season pass and/or daily pass revoked. A person who has been found in violation of this policy may appeal that determination to the Aquatic Center General Manager.
Video and photo cannot be taken in the locker rooms.
