Open Streets on 50th!

Rain or shine, join us from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, for Open Streets on 50th! We're closing West 50th Street between Wooddale Avenue in Edina and Chowen Avenue in Minneapolis for the third-annual Open Streets on 50th!

The street will be open to bikes and pedestrians to enjoy music, dance, games, crafts, yoga and other creative and active events. Civic, athletic, artistic, creative and neighborhood groups, as well as businesses will participate! Open Streets is dog-friendly, too!

It's time for everyone to come together for a day of celebration and community building!

Follow the event on Facebook for updates!

We are planning all the activities. For a full list of what we offered in 2017, go here.

Vendors Sought for Open Streets

This is a great opportunity to showcase your small business, food, crafts, entertainment or organization to Edina residents and nearby communities.

People will be walking or riding in this festive atmosphere. They'll be stopping at vendor booths to shop, sample, ask questions, be entertained or learn about you.

Reserve a booth space now. Or get a free booth and more benefits by helping sponsor the event. Reserve or learn more.

Read the Vendor Policy.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteer to help set up, staff or tear down the event. We also are seeking people to ask those in attendance what they liked and what they would like to see at the 2019 event.

Volunteers get a free limited-edition T-shirt in addition to having a lot of fun at Open Streets.
