Public Art

School of Fish art

Public art has been a priority in Edina since 2004. The Arts & Culture Commission oversees the City's public art efforts and runs the Public Art Edina program. The City provides $10,000 annually as seed money to jump start projects, with additional funds coming from grants, and corporate and private donors. To donate, contact the Edina Community Foundation.

Award Winners

As part of the Public Art Edina program, the public voted for the People's Choice Awards among the 2017 rotating exhibits. In 2018, the Arts & Culture Commission began annual competitions among Edina elementary school students. From the finalists, local artists decided which pieces to turn into full-scale public art.
