Public Art

Public art has been a priority in Edina since 2004. The Arts & Culture Commission oversees the City's public art efforts and runs the Public Art Edina program. The City provides $10,000 annually as seed money to jump start projects, with additional funds coming from grants, and corporate and private donors. In 2018, the Arts & Culture Commission began annual competitions among Edina elementary school students. From the finalists, local artists decided which pieces to turn into full-scale public art.
