Three Trees

Three Trees

The Artwork

"Three Trees" is a ceramic sculpture piece that speaks about how Man and nature are intimately connected and interdependent. Earth's resources are conquered and harnessed to benefit humankind, yet humans are dependent upon these elements and must be good stewards of them. The delicate balance of man's relationship with the earth and the universe has long inspired reflection on the nature of our connection with this world we inhabit. This, then, must certainly be a source of humankind's long-standing spiritual quest.
