Torchlight Concert: First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band at Centennial Lakes Park

The First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band is a Minnesota-based concert band. The 45-person ensemble has been performing since 1970 and have a large, enthusiastic following. They perform multiple shows every summer at various parks throughout the Twin Cities.
Torchlight Night will start at 6:30pm with fun on the Promenade. The concert will begin at 8:30pm.
Centennial Lakes Park features free concerts at 7 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at the Maetzold Amphitheater.
The amphitheater is a short walk from the main entrance at Hughes Pavilion and has tiered seating. Visitors also may bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on the lawn. Picnics are allowed (no alcohol). Popcorn, ice cream and beverages are available for sale.
Free parking is available by Hughes Pavilion and across from the amphitheater in the Centennial Lakes Office Park on West 76th Street.
