The Brooklyn Community Band is a concert band comprised of volunteer musicians from the Brooklyn Park/Brooklyn Center areas and beyond. They perform both a summer and winter concert series and aim to share their love of music to their fellow Minnesotans.

Centennial Lakes Park features free concerts at 7 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at the Maetzold Amphitheater. 

The amphitheater is a short walk from the main entrance at Hughes Pavilion and has tiered seating. Visitors also may bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on the lawn. Picnics are allowed (no alcohol). Popcorn, ice cream and beverages are available for sale.

Free parking is available by Hughes Pavilion and across from the amphitheater in the Centennial Lakes Office Park on West 76th Street.
