The Hunker'd Down Blues Band is a five-piece blues band that has performed in a wide variety of venues and occasions, from private parties, clubs, bars and outdoor events, to opening for the nationally acclaimed blues guitarist Corey Stevens. Formed in 2008, the band has played a significant number of events for Minneapolis, St. Paul, Chaska, and Edina Parks and Recreation.

Centennial Lakes Park features free concerts at 7 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at the Maetzold Amphitheater. 

The amphitheater is a short walk from the main entrance at Hughes Pavilion and has tiered seating. Visitors also may bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on the lawn. Picnics are allowed (no alcohol). Popcorn, ice cream and beverages are available for sale.

Free parking is available by Hughes Pavilion and across from the amphitheater in the Centennial Lakes Office Park on West 76th Street.
