The Pan-handlers Steel Drum Band is a steel pan ensemble created for members interested in furthering their music career without the rigors of marching. Sicne its inception in 2014, it has grown into a staple of the Twin Cities music scene, regularly performing in Arts in the Park concerts as well as at festivals, parties, and other events throughout the year.

Centennial Lakes Park features free concerts at 7 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at the Maetzold Amphitheater. 

The amphitheater is a short walk from the main entrance at Hughes Pavilion and has tiered seating. Visitors also may bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on the lawn. Picnics are allowed (no alcohol). Popcorn, ice cream and beverages are available for sale.

Free parking is available by Hughes Pavilion and across from the amphitheater in the Centennial Lakes Office Park on West 76th Street.
