The Ants Who Wanted to Fly by Seth Eberle Puppets at Centennial Lakes Park

Thursday, July 21, 2022

Seth Eberle is a puppeteer that uses various forms of puppetry to tell stories for family audiences.  Seth uses wood, paper mâché, and fabric to create puppets to emphasize the hand-made and natural over the mass-produced and plastic.  Seth's work has been performed at Open Eye Figure Theatre, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, Dreamland Arts, the Off-leash Area Art Box, preschools, schools, libraries, and community centers around Minnesota and regionally.  Recently, Seth received a Jim Henson Foundation Grant for his production of The Box King.

Centennial Lakes Park features free children's concerts at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Maetzold Amphitheater.

The amphitheater is a short walk from the main entrance at Hughes Pavilion and has tiered seating. Visitors also may bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on the lawn. Picnics are allowed (no alcohol). Popcorn, ice cream and beverages are available for sale.

Free parking is available by Hughes Pavilion and across from the amphitheater in the Centennial Lakes Office Park on West 76th Street.
