Remember the Titans (2000) is the August selection for Movies in the Park. The movie will begin at dusk—approximately 8:00pm.

Featuring Denzel Washington, Will Patton, and Wood Harris, the movie tells the true story of a newly appointed African-American coach and his high school team on their first season as a racially integrated unit.

Centennial Lakes Park's Movies in the Park series features monthly free movies at sunset at the Maetzold Amphitheater.

The amphitheater is a short walk from the main entrance at Hughes Pavilion and has tiered seating. Visitors also may bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on the lawn. Picnics are allowed (no alcohol). Popcorn, ice cream and beverages are available for sale.

Free parking is available by Hughes Pavilion and across from the amphitheater in the Centennial Lakes Office Park on West 76th Street.
