The public is invited to provide feedback and ideas for preliminary design of the new Fire Station 2 at a workshop 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Public Works & Park Maintenance Facility, 7450 Metro Blvd.

City staff would like to hear how the community might like to use indoor and outdoor public spaces at the facility and what transportation needs they have to get there. They hope to integrate what they hear in the design. The feedback collected will focus on incorporating the values of sustainability, equity, community health and engagement. 

Community members who cannot attend the workshop and want to provide feedback online, can use the Design Feedback tool on BetterTogetherEdina.org.
