This is What Black History Month Means to Me!

Black History Month is a celebration of Black people like: Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Bessie Colman, George Washington Carver and Thurgood Marshall and more. I know about Harriet Tubman the best. She was a slave but then she ran away and then she became a spy in the civil war. She helped a lot of people get out of slavery using the Underground Railroad. We celebrate Black History Month so that we can look back in history and learn about American heroes.

So Black History Month means a lot to me!
