Police Seek Public's Help in Finding Toddler

Girl missing from Rosland Park

UPDATE (Sep. 7, 9:30 a.m.) - An updated clothing description of the girl has been provided by family: yellow top, blue leggings, pink shoes. She is autistic and non-verbal and may not respond.

Edina, Minn., Sep. 6, 2021 – The Edina Police Department is asking for assistance from the public to locate a missing girl. 

The girl, Iklas Abdullahi Ahmed, aged two and a half, was last seen in the area of Rosland Park, 4300 W. 66th St., this afternoon around 5 p.m. when she was there with family. She is wearing white clothing and an orange hijab. 

The girl is believed to have wandered away from family on her own. Police and Fire personnel are on the scene, searching the area. Residents of homes nearby the park have been notified and asked to search their properties. If you have seen the girl or have any information on her whereabouts, please call the Edina Police Department at 952-826-1600 at any time.
