[ARCHIVED] Community Invited to Attend "Big Trucks" Open House on May 19

The City of Edina will host a “Big Trucks” open house 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at the Public Works & Park Maintenance Facility, 7450 Metro Blvd.

This free, family-friendly event is open to residents and non-residents and will take place during National Public Works Week, a week dedicated to celebrating public works professionals. There will be specialized equipment, hand and power tools and no shortage of big trucks on display! Children can complete a scavenger hunt to win a candy prize.

This is an opportunity to learn more about how Public Works, Engineering and Park Maintenance serve the Edina community in a fun and interactive way.

Free hot dogs, snacks and refreshments will be served.

The open house will be held rain or shine. Registration is not required, but it will help our planning if you express interest through our Facebook event: https://bit.ly/BigTrucksEdina22

Parking will be available in the main lot, with overflow parking available across the street at 7400 Metro Blvd.

For more information, call the City of Edina’s Public Works Department, 952-826-0376.
