The Edina Senior Center hosts both AARP Smart Driving and Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center Driving courses.
AARP Smart Driving Class
This class, taught by certified AARP instructors, uses a workbook, lecture, discussion and videos; there is no test. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate.
4-Hour Refresher Course
Date/Time: Thursday, July 14; 5-9 p.m.

MHSRC DRIVING CLASSES
Taught by Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center, the class will explore the latest in vehicle technology, changes in laws and review defensive driving principles. Minnesota state law allows a 10 percent reduction on auto insurance premiums each year for three years to individuals completing the course. The 8-hour class fee is $28; the 4-hour class fee is $24.
4-Hour Refresher Course
This class is for those who have taken the 8-hour course and whose eligibility for a three-year auto insurance discount is expiring.
