Edina Police, FBI Investigate Sept. 30 Robbery at 50th & France

In partnership with the FBI, the Edina Police Department is investigating a Sept. 30 robbery at 50th & France.

At approximately 2:32 p.m., an ATM technician was robbed by four men at U.S. Bank, 4100 W. 50th St. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area in a blue sport utility vehicle (SUV) and a silver SUV.

Officers found both vehicles on 50th Street at Dale Drive. The silver SUV fled from the area to northbound Minnesota Highway 100. The blue SUV fled the area on eastbound 50th and abruptly stopped at Sunnyslope Road. The driver of that vehicle ran away, but was apprehended by officers on foot at 50th and Dale. He is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail. Investigators are still looking for the three other suspects and the silver SUV.
