Edina Police Ask for Help in Identifying Suspects

Edina, Minn., Oct. 11, 2022 – The Edina Police Department seeks the public help in identifying two men involved in auto thefts and strong-arm robberies in Edina and Minneapolis earlier this year.

In late July, there were a series of purse snatchings in the 50th & France District. The suspects were driving an Audi Q3 that had been stolen from Edina. The Police Department’s investigation led to a residence in a nearby suburb where three suspects were arrested after fleeing on foot from the stolen Audi. Search warrants were executed and evidence was collected. Items recovered were returned to eight different victims in Edina and Minneapolis.

Through the investigation, the Police Department obtained high-resolution images of two persons of interest. All attempts to identify them have been unsuccessful.

The Police Department has released the photos and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

If you have information about the men, please contact the Edina Police Department, 952-826-1610, 24 hours a day.Suspect #1Suspect #1
