Vendors Sought for Centennial Lakes Park Farmers Market

Edina, Minn., Jan. 10, 2023 – Vendor applications are open to sell locally grown or produced food or flowers this summer at the Centennial Lakes Park Farmers Market.

The summer market runs 3-7 p.m. Thursdays June 8 through Sept. 28 in the most picturesque location for a market in the Twin Cities. Vendors line the pathways by Hughes Pavilion, live music is scheduled every week, and shoppers have easy access and free parking at Centennial Lakes Park, 7499 France Ave S.

Only food items, flowers and plants are allowed for sale. They must be grown or produced by the vendor.

New vendors are encouraged to apply as market customers are often looking for something new along with visiting longtime favorite vendors. Items that can be sold at this market include eggs, cheese, meat, fish, herbs and spices, bakery goods, candies, treats, honey, syrup, jams, and pickled and canned goods. All products must be prepared and packaged following Minnesota Department of Agriculture rules.

Season-long booth spaces are available for $230 to $280. For vendors who can only make a few dates this summer, a new option allows for selling at three markets for $50.

A committee will review all applications to determine which vendors are best suited for available market spaces.

Application deadline is March 31, 2023. Previous vendors must reapply for the 2023 season.
