Metro Cities Team Up to 'Electrify Everything MN'

Minneapolis, Minn., April 1, 2023 – To connect all residents with the information and resources they need to take steps to lower their home energy use and move to clean and renewable energy sources, the cities of Edina, Eden Prairie, Minneapolis and St. Louis Park have launched an “Electrify Everything MN” awareness and education campaign.

The Electrify Everything MN campaign includes a series of workshops where residents can ask questions, explore high-efficiency electric heating/cooling and appliances, and learn how to access grants, tax credits and rebates to help pay for home energy projects. The first round of free workshops are scheduled for May. Residents of the participating suburban communities can register to attend any of the workshops at

  • Wednesday, May 3, 6-8 p.m.  – Edina Public Works & Park Maintenance Facility, 7450 Metro Blvd., Edina
  • Tuesday, May 9, 6-8 p.m. – St. Louis Park Library, 3240 Library Lane, St. Louis Park
  • Monday, May 15, 6-8 p.m. – Eden Prairie Community Center, 16700 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie

There will be a second round of workshops this fall.
