September is National Senior Center Month, which provides over 11,000 senior centers’ nationwide an opportunity to showcase their centers and promote a positive image of aging.
This year’s theme is “Discover Yours.” “Discover Yours” is meant to encourage people to take an active role in exploring new activities, hobbies, and experiences. It emphasizes that it’s never too late to try something new and inspires self-discovery. The Edina Senior Center will be celebrating National Senior Center month with events and ongoing activities scheduled almost every day; there is something for everyone to enjoy.
