Toys for Tots Collections at Edina Police and Fire Stations

Edina, Minn., Nov. 17, 2023 – The Edina Police and Fire departments will collect donations for the Toys for Tots holiday gift program starting Wednesday, Nov. 22. Donations will be accepted at the Police Department, 4801 W. 50th St., and Fire Station 1, 6250 Tracy Ave., through 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14.

New, unwrapped toys, along with gifts for older kids and teens, will be accepted in the Police and Fire department lobbies for the next several weeks. The Police drop-off is open 24 hours a day daily, while the Fire drop-off is available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

“Having been actively involved with Toys for Tots for several years, I think it is a great opportunity for the Police and Fire departments to show our support for the community and ensure every child has a memorable Christmas,” said Community Engagement Officer Nick Donahue.

Last year, the Toys for Tots program in the Twin Cities donated more than 232,000 toys and supported over 190,600 children in the community.
