Help Sought Identifying Possible Witness to Edina Aquatic Center Incident

Edina, Minn., Aug. 2, 2018 — The Edina Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a male who may have witnessed an incident in the men’s locker room at the Edina Aquatic Center. About 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, a white male with dark brown hair followed a young boy into a restroom stall and touched him inappropriately.


Security cameras at the Aquatic Center, 4300 W. 66th St., show this person likely was in the locker room around the time of the incident. He appears to be wearing a Chicago Blackhawks cap and might be carrying a Chicago Bears beach towel.


Investigators would like to talk to this person about what he might have seen.
