Edina, Minn., Dec. 31, 2018 – Braemar Golf Course’s driving range and the Braemar Golf Dome have both been named among the nation’s top 50 ranges by the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA).
This marks the first time GRAA has honored both facilities separately in the same year. The driving range made the 2018 list of Top 50 public ranges while the Golf Dome was recognized as a Top 50 Range in the Stand-Alone category from GRAA. The Golf Dome was first honored in 2015 and then the Driving Range was recognized in 2016 and 2017.
“These honors are a credit to the entire Braemar Golf Course team,” General Manager Joe Abood said.
Braemar Golf Course’s winning facilities are listed with those of many prestigious golf destinations across America such as Chambers Bay in Washington, home of the 2015 U.S. Open; and the PGA Center for Golf Learning in Florida. They are featured in the December 2018 issue of Golf Range Magazine as well as online at GolfRange.org. Braemar’s Driving Range and Golf Dome were the only Minnesota facilities honored among the top 50 in their categories.
The GRAA continues to recognize the quality of what Braemar offers to Twin Cities’ golfers, Abood said. The outdoor range has fairway-quality grass that offers a much better hitting surface than many other local ranges. Braemar Golf Dome remains the area’s largest and longest-hitting indoor range, with two levels of tee areas, Smart Tee dividers to give golfers instant feedback and a large practice green.
While the GRAA awards are prestigious in the industry, they also carry weight among golfers and golf professionals, promoting the highest-quality facilities in the country.
Braemar Golf Dome is open throughout the winter. The Braemar Golf Course Driving Range will reopen in Spring 2019. Learn more about both places at BraemarGolf.com or call Abood at 952-903-5754.
