$1,000 Reward Offered in Utley Park Vandalism

The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charging of the person or persons responsible for recent damage at Utley Park, 4521 W. 50th St. 

Sometime overnight on July 18, a person or persons damaged the restroom doors, interior of the restroom, and the Veterans Memorial at the park, causing more than $6,750 worth of damage. 

“We take vandalism very seriously and are actively investigating this incident,” said Sgt. Mark Melander. “If residents ever witness suspicious behavior, they should call 911 immediately to report it.”

The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is the sole judge of any point of contention regarding the reward, and any decision on any issue connected with the reward is final.
