Board of Appeal & Equalization to Meet April 22

Edina, Minn., April 10, 2020 – The City of Edina’s Board of Appeal & Equalization will meet 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22.

Each year, property owners are mailed value notices informing them of the values placed on their properties. Edina property owners were mailed value notices April 1. If you have questions on the notice you received or disagree with your 2020 property assessment, call the City of Edina’s Assessing Division, 952-826-0365. If your concerns are not resolved after speaking with Assessing staff, you may make an appeal to the Board of Appeal & Equalization. Appeals should be received by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, for consideration at the meeting.

The original notice for the meeting of the Board of Appeal & Equalization indicated that it would be held at City Hall. Due to COVID-19 and Gov. Tim Walz’s Stay-at-Home Order, the meeting will be held electronically. Members of the public can watch the meeting live:

  • Edina TV (Comcast Channels 813 or 16)
  • Facebook.com/EdinaMN
  • City’s “Watch a Meeting” web page at EdinaMN.gov/LiveMeetings.

The Board of Appeal & Equalization will meet again May 6 to take action on matters presented at the April 22 meeting.
