Do I need a witness to sign my absentee envelope?

Probably not.

If you are already a registered voter, you do not need a witness for the Nov. 3 General Election. However, please put both your driver’s license number and the last four digits of your social security number on your Signature Envelope and make sure to sign it to ensure all that information matches what’s on file from your registration.

If you haven’t registered before, you will need a witness to sign the Signature Envelope where indicated.
