Election Judge Application

  1. What's an Election Judge?
    Election judges are essential to our democracy. They are responsible for administering the election procedures in the polling place on Election Day. Serving as an election judge is a great opportunity to serve our community and be involved in the election process.
  2. Work Hours
    6 a.m. to approximately 9 p.m. on Election Days. Judges in Edina must work the entire Election Day.
  3. Pay: $11 per hour
    State law allows for time off for work WITHOUT LOSS OF WAGES to serve as an election judge with 20 days prior written notice to the employer (Minnesota Statute 204B.195)

Some information considered private on this application might need to be shared among Edina City Staff and with law enforcement agencies, the U.S. military and local, county and state government agencies for verification.
