October 17, 2017, 9:15 AM - 12:15 PM @ Art Center
Having a good image is the beginning of a good painting. Our images should have a good balance between lights and darks, warm and cool values, an interesting composition and clear detail. Drawing using the sight-size or the comparative method is encouraged, but our focus is on painting and we can shorten the drawing stage when needed. This class offers an opportunity to see with fresh eyes. *No class Oct. 10.
