  4. Armed Forces Day Ceremony To Honor and Remember: A Tribute to Edina's Service Members

    In observance of Armed Forces Day, the City of Edina, the Edina Veterans Memorial Committee and the Edina Historical Society host this special event to honor Edina residents who have served in the five branches of the military and to remember those who sacrificed their lives for freedom. Speakers include Mayor James Hovland, retired Brig. Gen. Dennis Schultstad and Vietnam veterans Bob Benson and Marshall Schwartz.

  5. Public Works Open House

    Public Works employees will be on hand to educate and answer questions. The public is encouraged to tour the facilities, try out some tools, eat some tasty snacks - and, of course, have a blast while checking out the fire truck, Bear Cat, tractor, bucket truck, cam truck, miller, roller, sprayer or any of the 20 pieces of equipment on display.
