    The October HRA meeting was moved to the third Thursday of the month because of the City Council meeting. The meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. Members of the public can watch the meeting live: • Edina TV (Comcast Channels 813 or 16) • • City’s “Watch a Meeting” web page at Members of the public can participate in “Community Comment” or the public hearing (if applicable) by calling 800-374-0221 with Conference ID 9078059 during the meeting. To obtain the conference ID number for the unique meeting please visit the website and the conference ID will be listed on the agenda. To participate in Community Comment or testify during the public hearing, press *1 on your telephone keypad after connecting to the conference. An operator will mute your line and place you into a queue until it is your turn to speak. After the public hearing, the call will end.

    Fall into fitness with Edina’s WALKtober Challenge from Oct. 1 to 31. October is ideal for walking; the temperatures are cool and the colors are spectacular. Walk outside, at home or in the gym and log your miles throughout the month using the provided interactive spreadsheet. Participants have the option to participate at no cost or pay $25 to be eligible for motivational prizes and get a pair of WALKtober mittens if they complete a 50K (31 miles) or 100K (62 miles).
