The 2021 spring/summer registration will open noon Wednesday, Feb. 17 for leagues, lessons and classes at Braemar Golf Course and Dome. Residents will receive an Activities Directory in the mail the week of Feb. 8 or view it online at EdinaParks.com. Starting Feb. 9, spring/summer activities will be viewable to browse by class type and age group or searchable by keyword, name or class number. Activities and classes incorporate health and safety guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This may include social distancing, masks, smaller class sizes and increased sanitation. Prepare for registration by logging in and making sure your account is updated or, if a new user, create an account.

The Arts & Culture Commission holds their regular monthly meeting on the fourth Thursday of the month. Due to COVID-19, the meeting will be held electronically using Webex software and recorded. The meeting will be streamed live on the City's YouTube channel, YouTube.com/EdinaTV. there will also be an option for people to call in to listen to the meetings via telephone. The call-in option phone number and access code can be located on the top of the meeting agenda.

Edina Mayor James B. Hovland and Edina Public Schools Superintendent John Schultz will present the “2021 State of the Community” Thursday, Feb. 25. The pair will speak about Edina’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cost for the luncheon, which is open to the public, is $20. People may attend the meeting as non-lunching guests or watch via Zoom for free. Registration is required; upon registration, those who want to watch live via Zoom will be sent a link. Due to current health guidelines, attendance will be limited at the Edina Country Club. Doors open and check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at noon. After checking in at a registration table, guests will be seated immediately at tables of four. Masks must be worn when not eating or drinking. Hand sanitizer stations will be located at the main entrance to the country club and at the entrance to the ballroom.
