Pat Tucker has been hired by the City of Edina to serve as the Project Communication Coordinator for the Market Street Redevelopment projects. In this capacity, Pat will serve as the liaison between the business community and other stakeholders and the contractors, City staff and developers.
The construction projects are scheduled to begin January 2018. While the buildings will be completed and delivered in 3-4 phases, the overall project will take 21 months to complete. Based on the urging of the local businesses, the City has engaged Pat in advance of the construction so that she can better understand the interests and concerns of nearby businesses who may be affected by the construction.
Pat is looking forward to meeting and working with the all business in the 50th and France District. In the weeks ahead, she will be stopping by each business to meet with you and learn more about your business and any needs you may have.
She has been a long time member of the Edina business community having led the Edina Chamber of Commerce and worked with the Edina Community Foundation. Pat is excited to reconnect with a number of individuals she has had the pleasure of knowing and working with previously in the area. For several years Pat was also a staff member at Excel Bank “on the corner”.
Pat has worked, lived and shopped in the Edina community for 30 plus years. She and her husband Larry have one son and a very large dog.
